Who we are
Amarillo Tornado Shelters (amarillotornadoshelters.com) is a referral website. We are not a contractor. We help homeowners in and around Amarillo request quotes from independent local storm shelter installers.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the details you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, your description of the job, your preferred contact time, and the page you submitted from.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To pass your request to an independent local storm shelter installer so they can contact you about a quote.
- To follow up on your request if needed.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
Who we share it with
We share your request with one independent local storm shelter installer who serves your area. That business is responsible for its own handling of your information once it contacts you. We also use service providers to run this site: website hosting (Vercel) and email delivery (Resend) for forwarding quote requests. They process data only to provide those services.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add an analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) in the future, we will update this policy to describe it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests only as long as needed to handle them and for basic record-keeping, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Send a request through our contact form and write "privacy request" in the description box. If you no longer want to be contacted about a quote, tell the business that contacts you, or let us know the same way.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
